Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, designing, developing, and completing compliance projects to ensure that our teams and clients are meeting the requirements of various federal, state, and local laws. This role requires staying up-to-date with regulations such as HIPAA and ACA, managing and investigating compliance-related incidents and breaches, and providing guidance and recommendations to effectively achieve compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, design, develop, and complete compliance projects to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws.
  • Stay updated with federal, state, and local regulations such as HIPAA and ACA.
  • Manage and investigate compliance-related incidents and breaches, ensuring proper documentation and reporting to appropriate authorities.
  • Provide guidance, clear insight, and recommendations to effectively and efficiently achieve compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Conduct compliance reviews for new clients during onboarding and provide guidance where necessary in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of organizational practices to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Perform risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance activities, findings, and outcomes.
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize work in a well-organized manner.
  • Conduct research to respond to ad-hoc client inquiries.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure that all practices align with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations such as HIPAA and ACA.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Professional certification in compliance, such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), is a plus.
