Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, strong analytical skills, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, install, and maintain electronic equipment and systems in accordance with engineering specifications and technical documentation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic issues using diagnostic tools, schematics, and hands-on testing.
  • Repair or replace malfunctioning components, circuit boards, and wiring.
  • Proactively source components, build and test assemblies, and maintain an organized inventory of spare parts.
  • Perform functional and performance tests to verify proper operation of equipment.
  • Document equipment configurations, build materials lists, maintenance actions, and test outcomes.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to enhance system functionality and reliability.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and quality standards throughout all tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped workspace.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Degree, certification, or relevant hands-on experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an electronics technician or in a similar technical role.
  • Solid knowledge of electronic principles, circuit design, and component functionality.
  • Proficient in interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Skilled in soldering and using diagnostic instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with programmable microcontrollers, embedded systems, and Python scripting.
  • Familiarity with servicing wiring harnesses in automated test equipment or aerospace systems.
  • IPC certification for soldering (if applicable).
  • Experience creating CAD files for 3D printing or engraving applications.

Working Conditions:

  • Involves physical activity such as standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Exposure to electrical equipment—strict adherence to safety procedures is mandatory.
  • Work may take place in lab, production, or field environments.
  • Occasional on-call support may be required in coordination with the team, outside of standard work hours.
