Client Overview : Our client, an entertainment subscription service, is seeking a Social Media Manager to join their team. This is a 2 year contract with potential to convert to a full-time employee.

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, LATAM Social Media to lead our social media strategy and execution across Latin America, with a particular focus on Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for content creation, channel management, community engagement, and performance reporting aimed at building our audience and enhancing brand visibility. Fluency in Spanish is essential. Will go on site 2-3 days/ week in Newark, NJ.

Latin America Social Media Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive social media content calendars for various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, and X.
  • Create engaging and culturally relevant content tailored to Latin American audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align on strategy and ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to inform strategy adjustments.
  • Manage community engagement and respond promptly to audience interactions.
  • Execute social media campaigns that support product launches and company initiatives.
  • Work with influencers to expand reach within the Latin American market.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines while being culturally appropriate.
  • Oversee relationships with agencies ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide creative direction for content development that meets quality standards.
  • Track project status, deliverables, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage budgets effectively for both internal and external resources.

Latin America Social Media Manager Qualifications:

  • Native or near-native Spanish speaker with deep cultural understanding of Latin America, particularly Mexico.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in social media marketing focused on the Latin American market.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-faceted budgets and achieving social media targets.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • A collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit.
