Hatton Veterinary Hospital, located in the heart of California, is searching for an Associate DVM to join our Elk Grove team.
We’re looking for an Associate who:
Has 2+ years of clinical experience in a small animal hospital
Loves companion animal medicine (any special interests are welcome!)
Is confident, capable, and thrives in ever changing environments
Is a team player and motivated to learn and grow
Wants to join a dedicated team where everyone is willing to lend a helping hand
Understands the importance of client education and communicates effectively, compassionately, and respectfully
Is licensed (or able to become licensed) in the state of California

We have been working with cats, dogs, and birds at our Elk Grove location for more than 26 years!
Our clientele is wonderful and stable, just like our support staff
We have 4 talented doctors plus an additional relief DVM
Our support team is well-utilized and includes 4 RVTs!
We function as a paper-lite hospital (Avimark)
We are well-equipped with IDEXX in-house lab equipment, digital xrays, digital dental xrays, a full surgical suite, and pharmacy

Flexible scheduling:
While we are looking to hire a full-time role, those interested in part-time are also encouraged to apply. Our current hours are 8am-6pm on weekdays and 8am-4pm on Saturdays. Regular Saturday coverage is required for this role (2 Saturdays each month). There are no on-call services or emergency hours required for this role.
